Linn’s practice focuses on providing comprehensive, personalized estate planning counseling to couples, families, and individuals, as well as assisting in probate and trust administration. Linn is committed to helping her clients understand the important role proper estate planning can play in protecting themselves and their loved ones.  Previously, Linn was a partner in Adams & Sasse, LLP, and before that, an associate attorney with its predecessor firm, Osterloh & Orta, LLP, where she worked on a diverse array of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.  Having been trained by the partners of Osterloh & Orta to take over that firm’s client matters under a new name, Linn cofounded Adams & Sasse LLP with Nicholau W. Adams in 2016, and continues to operate the firm today as Sasse Law Office PC.  Linn values the opportunities to develop meaningful and productive client relationships that estate planning affords.

Before joining Osterloh & Orta, Linn worked in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  First she had the honor of being selected in an extremely competitive process to serve as a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald M. Gould, and then she was chosen to be a staff attorney for the entire Court, working on a broad selection of civil matters, including tax and bankruptcy. Linn also practiced business litigation at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP in Los Angeles.

Linn received her undergraduate degree in 1999 from Stanford University, where she received the Stanford Scholar-Athlete award all four years and graduated with honors. Between college and law school, Linn was a fellow for Senator Paul Wellstone and conducted research at the Center for International Security and Cooperation for the United States Department of Energy and former Secretary of Defense William Perry. At UCLA School of Law, from which she received her J.D. in 2006, Linn was a recipient of the David Simon and Glickman scholarships and an editor of several law journals. Linn has also done volunteer work with the Homelessness Prevention Clinic and in the Alzheimer and Geriatric wards at a Veteran’s Administration Hospital. She is a member of East Bay Trusts & Estates Lawyers and the California Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in front of California Superior and Supreme Courts, the Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Linn lives in Piedmont with her two sons. She is a life-long competitive runner, having held the mile record for the city of Minneapolis, earning All-Pac10 honors during college, and recently running a marathon in 2:52.
